Studio Update: Week of 4/21-4/26

Okay so I thought that after moving everything, I would have so much more free time and energy to get into the studio. WRONG. Now my stuff is everywhere in boxes and I am overwhelmed. Oh you need your deodorant???? Guess which box it's in out of the 500 of them in your new space!!! So unpacking this week will become top priority. In the studio, top priority is to finish up some bowls for our empty bowls event the following Tuesday. I have the bowls out of the bisque, along with my small batch of work. So this week I glazed that work and reloaded it on Friday. My pie stand was .5 inches too tall to fit in this kiln with all the student work and empty bowls so I will schedule another glaze kiln for next week to fire that one. I went for my first walk around my new neighborhood in Louisville and it was so stunning, everything is in bloom.
