Studio Update: Week of 4/14- 4/19

Okay so writing these all back, maybe I have done way more than I am giving myself credit for. I still don't think that I have performed as highly in the studio as I usually do, but I have still done a decent bit, and wow is there so much extra that I have been doing. Plus, as I have mentioned, I am burnt out with a capital B.

This week is crunch time for moving. My plan is to have all my stuff moved out of my current apartment except big furniture by EOD Friday, so that I can rent the truck on Saturday. All week, between working and studio time, I was packing and hauling shit from my second story apt. in Indiana, to my third floor apt. in Louisville. It was an exhausting week to say the least. Lots of 6am box hauls before work, 8pm box hauls after the studio. On Friday, I got to see Remi Wolf in Cincy with my partner! It was a concert we booked months ago and it was a fun way to celebrate the last night in my old Apartment. On Saturday, I rented a moving truck ( Siri play Chappell Roan, "She gets the Job Done") and some friends helped my get all my furniture into my new place. Picture that one episode of friends where Ross is yelling PIVOTTTT with the couch. That was us a couple times.

Studio wise this week, I finished decorating some of my work, got it to the right dryness and bisque fired the work. I would be prepping these things for a glaze firing hopefully within the next week or so. I did not finish decorating the entire batch of work that I threw a week or two ago, but I am trying to give myself some grace. I can only do what I can.
